One connected system for your
lawn & garden
LawnSuite isn't five apps and a notebook stitched together. It's one loop: set up a zone, add the products you already own, and Jed, LawnSuite's AI lawn assistant, does the thinking from there. Each step feeds the next: Jed reads your zone details, My Shed products, equipment and last health check before it answers.
How the pieces talk to each other
Start anywhere, but here's the path most weekends take.
- Set up a zone and stock your shed. Mark out an area of lawn or garden, then add the products and gear you've got. My Shed, where LawnSuite remembers the products and gear you own.
- Jed advises from what you own. Jed uses your shared zone details, shed, equipment and last health check, then recommends from the products you already have, not a generic answer off a forum.
- The calculator turns "use product X" into a measured mix. Pick the product, enter your zone area, and get the grams or mL for your patch, say, "mix this for your 120 m² zone." Always read the product label before you apply.
- Snap a problem, get a diagnosis. Photograph a patch and Jed identifies the likely cause. On Web, treatment steps and the Treat This action appear only when the top match scores 50% or more and leads the next match by more than 10 points. For a lower-confidence or ambiguous result, try a closer photo in daylight or a physical check before treating.
- "Treat This" opens the next job. On Web, it opens a scheduled treatment with its type preset, ready for you to add the product and date and save.
- Weather and seasons schedule it. On every plan, weather postponement can move eligible scheduled jobs you haven’t edited when the forecast crosses its rain, wind or heat holds. Save your zone’s exact location first; on Web, tap Set exact location on the zone while at the lawn, then confirm to save the current position reported by your device.
- Use your history when you ask. Your treatment log keeps every date, product and note, ready to share with Jed when you ask, by adding its details to your message.
Three guides for your next lawn job
Start with the question you have today, then follow the steps in the guide.
How do I measure my lawn area?
Use the free satellite area tool: search for your address, trace the lawn outline and copy the total in square metres. Trace the front and back separately to see each area and their combined total.
Measure your lawn step by step →How do I keep a lawn care journal?
Keep dates and notes with each lawn zone. The treatment journal covers mowing, watering, aeration and dethatching as well as product applications. Each record shows its status, so you can tell what is planned from what you have done.
Keep a treatment journal →How does LawnSuite work out when to water?
Each day, sun, heat and wind draw water out of your lawn and soil. The watering guide shows how LawnSuite estimates that loss from your local weather, using FAO-56, the UN Food and Agriculture Organization's published method, and counts rain against it. It then works out how long to water from your lawn area and your measured flow (or a preset rate for your watering method until you measure it), whether you use a hand hose, sprinkler, drip or an irrigation system, adjusted for your grass and soil. That is how Pro smart watering decides when and how long to water.
See how watering is calculated →Your year-round program for 26 turf and climate combinations
That loop is your week-to-week. Zoom out and Pro hands you the whole season already planned: a year-round program for 26 grass and climate combinations, applied to your lawn.
Built for your turf and climate
26 turf-genus and climate combinations run live, so a Buffalo lawn in the subtropics gets a different plan to Couch in a cool-temperate zone. Pick your zone and yours is the one you see.
Monthly jobs, applied as dated treatments
When you apply a supported template, its monthly jobs become dated treatments. Templates are reviewed against current Australian product labels and authoritative turf-management sources. The Buffalo (Warm / Subtropical) program schedules 36 jobs across the year, plus optional extras, ready to customise. Each job carries product, method and timing guidance; where it says 'Per label', the rate comes from your product's label.
Customise with your own products
On Pro, customise the program and use a product from My Shed. Android sends treatment reminders for scheduled jobs; on Web, the dashboard's This Week and Overdue lists show what's due, and optional weekly tips add seasonal pointers.

Spray diary and treatment records
Keep product amounts, dates and notes with each lawn zone. Log a calculator result in the browser app, then look back at your completed treatments.
Keep your lawn's treatment history →Repair, renovate or start again?
Choose a recovery path based on how much healthy lawn remains, check the cause, and match the next step to your grass.
Find a lawn recovery path →Your shed, your advice
My Shed and Jed: how LawnSuite grounds its advice in the products you already own, your shared zone details and last health check. Share any treatment record with Jed when you ask, by adding its details to your message.
How Jed knows your lawn →Exact dosages
From a label rate to the exact grams or mL for your zone (basic, dilution and tank mixes of up to 10 products) then flow calibration so you actually apply it accurately.
Stop doing maths in the shed →Diagnosis to treatment
Snap a problem, see the likely cause with its confidence score, then open a scheduled treatment on Web in one tap.
From photo to plan →Weather & seasons
One promise: pick the right window. Spray and no-spray windows, soil-as-a-battery watering and seasonal programs, so timing isn't guesswork.
Get the timing right →Watering
How LawnSuite decides when a session is due: hourly FAO-56 evapotranspiration, your turf's crop coefficient and your soil's water-holding capacity, tracked as a deficit against your zone's refill threshold.
See the numbers behind it →Garden care & safety
Lawns, gardens, fruit trees and natives run on the same system, with edible-zone screening, organic-first options and water-compatibility built in. Withholding periods come from the product label.
Beyond the lawn →Common questions
Getting-started answers: how Jed knows which products to recommend, whether you have to measure your lawn, how exact the dosages are, and what it costs.
Read the FAQ →What it costs. There's a free tier to start, no card needed. Pro is $149.99/yr (or $14.99 month-to-month), and early supporters can lock in Founding Member pricing at $49.99/yr (renews at $49.99/yr). Your Founding price stays the same for as long as your subscription stays active. If you cancel after Founding closes to new sign-ups (at 100 paying subscribers, all plans), it can't be restored.
Accountability, not bravado. LawnSuite is a real, insured Australian business; there's a real, named company behind the app, unlike anonymous tips from Facebook groups or Reddit.
Where the data comes from: Health Check reads green cover, patchiness, uniformity and mow height from your photo; soil starts from the soil type you choose, plus modelled national soil data from the Soil and Landscape Grid of Australia (~90 m) in the Android app; and calculator doses use the rate on your product's label.
