Doses from your label rate
Choose a product whose current label permits your turf, intended use and stage of establishment, and follow its directions. Enter its label rate and your measured area in the LawnSuite calculator to work out the amount. In the app, enter the label rate or load one saved with a product in My Shed, choose your zone, and read the mix.
From the label rate to the grams for your zone
Three taps: pick the product, enter the area, read the mix. The calculator scales the rate you enter from the label to your zone.
Flow CalibrationTime your tap with a bucket
- Pick your product. Choose it from My Shed (the products you've added) and the label rate you saved loads with it, or enter a rate by hand.
- Enter your zone area. Type the square metres, or it's already there if you've set the zone up.
- Get the mix for your area. The label rate becomes the grams or mL to mix for that patch.
One calculator, free; tank mixing on Pro
The calculator is product-first: pick what you're using and it works out the rest. Dosing a single product (at any rate, including a concentrate dilution) is free on every plan. Combining several products in one tank is LawnSuite Pro.
The Calculator: one product, any rate
Enter a rate from the label, or pick a product from My Shed on Pro, and LawnSuite works out the dose for your zone: a straight rate across an area, a per-plant amount, or a concentrate dilution made up to the right water volume. It comes back in plain English you can copy, log straight to a treatment, or save to reuse.
Tank Mix: up to 10 products
Putting a fertiliser, a wetting agent and a herbicide through the sprayer in one pass? Set your tank size, add up to 10 products (each at its own rate and unit) and get the amount of every one for the batch. Read each product label and check they're compatible before you mix.
Flow calibration closes the gap
Knowing the mix is half the job. Getting it onto the lawn evenly is the other half.
Time a bucket fill and LawnSuite works out your tap or sprinkler's flow rate in litres per minute and millimetres per hour. Then it converts a deep-soak depth target (12mm, 18mm or 25mm) into the actual minutes to run for your setup. So your run time comes from your own measured flow rate, not a guess.
For a separate browser tool focused on sprayer equipment, use the free Sprayer Calibration tool.
The single-product dosage calculator is free on every plan; flow calibration is free in Android: single products at any rate, including concentrate dilutions, with the dose worked out for your zone. On Web, saving flow calibration needs an existing Pro watering setup. Multi-product tank mixing (up to 10 products in one tank) is part of LawnSuite Pro, at $149.99/yr (or $14.99/mo); Founding Member pricing is $49.99/yr (renews at $49.99/yr). Your Founding price stays the same for as long as your subscription stays active. If you cancel after Founding closes to new sign-ups (at 100 paying subscribers, all plans), it can't be restored.
Rates, safety directions and withholding periods come from the product label; the calculator turns that rate into the amount for your zone.
Not sure what the problem even is?
Snap a photo and let Jed identify it, then, on the web app, start a treatment from the diagnosis and work out the dose with the calculator from your product's label rate.
